Token Fundamentals

SPOT is the project token of SpotBlock. Today, it represents participation and long-term commitment to the ecosystem. As the platform matures, SPOT is planned to become a true utility key to access more advanced capabilities, including deeper security features built around Super-Analyst workflows.

Current Token Brief

SPOT follows a controlled distribution model. Additional minting is not allowed, which removes direct inflation and arbitrary supply expansion risk. Most supply is still locked and progressively released as the community and product ecosystem grow. For now, the project uses a reference price of $0.10.

You can monitor treasury, distribution, circulating figures, and wallet allocations from the live token pages: Token Metrics and Get SPOT.

Treasury and Release Model

Around 99% of supply is currently locked in the treasury wallet, while the rest is distributed between users, staking allocations, and reward operations. This conservative structure is designed to reduce operational risk and avoid uncontrolled distribution.

Contributor rewards are funded from a dedicated reward wallet and topped up as needed. The logic is intentionally dynamic and tied to validated contribution quality, as described in Rewards & Claims.

SPOT + USD Contributor Compensation

SpotBlock uses a dual reward approach: contributors are compensated in SPOT and also receive a USD token component. The USD token portion is currently set to 2% of the SPOT reward value and is processed manually by SpotBlock operations.

Example: if an accepted contribution yields 50 SPOT, the USD token reward is calculated as 2% of that SPOT value. Full mechanics and examples are available in Rewards & Claims.

Why Rabby/MetaMask May Not Show Fiat Value

Wallets such as Rabby or MetaMask usually rely on third-party pricing and indexing services. If those services do not index SPOT yet, your wallet can show token balance correctly while fiat valuation remains empty.

This is a display/indexing limitation, not a balance ownership issue. On-chain balances and SpotBlock platform metrics remain the source of truth.

Roadmap Direction

The next stage is to increase practical utility: API products for AML institutions, faster transaction risk-check experiences for users (including wallet-first flows), and deeper Super-Analyst usage models where SPOT token utility can be tied to premium analysis capability.
